Sparling's FM162 Fire Hydrant Meter is fitted for a fire hydrant connection and is designed to measure flows from 35 gpm up.
The pressure drop through the meter is approximately one pound per square inch at 200 gallons per minute.
The body is constructed of cast aluminum alloy, with a stainless steel liner. The propeller is polyethylene plastic; all other wetted parts are bronze or stainless steel.

End Connections are 2 1/2" National Fire Hose, 7 1/2 Thread coupling and spigot. 3" NPT ends are available upon request.

Weighing only 20 pounds, Sparling's Fire Hydrant Flow Meter is convenient to carry and attach. Installation on the fire hydrant and connection to the hose can be made in 1 to 2 minutes.
