Installation Guidelines:
- Local plumbing codes and regulations should be followed for water meter use and installation;
-
A 1 1/2” length of straight “setting path” is required just upstream of the water meter;
-
All Sediment should be flushed out through a spacer pipe before meter installation;
-
Install the meter in an easily accessible area downstream of the shutoff valve;
-
The flow indicator arrow stamped on the water meter body, should be installed in the direction of the flow;
-
Meter couplings are recommended for water meter installations and are available separately;
-
Meter register may be turned 360' for easier reading.
